David
will be presenting his work on reduction of nitrogen
pollution at source, via improvement of efficiency of
nitrogen fertilisers at the 2nd AFGA Conference at
Lancaster University 11th and 12th of August
201. The purpose of the conference is to bring
together African and international scholars,
corporate leaders and policy makers to address
African environmental issues.
Levity CropScience MD David Marks says 'With the increasing demand for food, fuel and fibre, the global economic crisis, and growing concerns over the impacts of agriculture on the environment, the improvement of productivity and nutrient use efficiency is vital for sustainable food production in Africa. Levity and its African partners are working hard in Africa to develop products that address the unique issues faced by farmers in sub-Saharan Africa.
The AGFA conference is an excellent forum to present the work we doing in countries such as Kenya, Zambia, Ethiopia, Tanzania, where our technology is reducing inputs and safeguarding the environment whilst also delivering more income to farmers through increased production and lower input costs.
